Title: DOTNET ARCHITECT Duration: 6-9 months Location: Boston , MA RESPONSIBILITIES: Looking for a system architect who is an expert in the Microsoft technologies along with an expert knowledge of the Oracle database. This system architect will be primarily responsible for architecting, designing and developing a new module on the Microsoft technology stack. The ideal candidate should be very familiar with all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) apart from having expert level work experience in design, development and implementation phases. QUALIFICATIONS: .Should have at least 3 years related experience as an architect .Must have extensive experience in Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 including Team Suite or Team Foundation Server features .Should have extensive experience of application development using. NET3.5 frameworks .Must have extensive experience in working with relational database systems .Should have the ability to identify and define right solution and develop solutions .Must have experience in defining and applying technology related standards, process and governance .Responsible for source code to be scalable, reliable, and should meet the application's standards .Should be an effective team member by participating in design sessions, development and implementation tasks as part of the day to day responsibilities REQUIRED SKILLS: .Bachelors degree - preferably in computer science - or equivalent experience .Excellent verbal and written communication skills .Proven results oriented person with a delivery focus - especially in the areas of writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code. .Ability to adapt to new development environments, changing business requirements and learning new systems is highly desired .A working knowledge of the .NET Framework and CLR is required and the candidate should be able to build functional sample code, and must have a good working knowledge of databases and data access methodologies .The following technical skills are specifically required for this position: oNet Framework 2.0 or higher oASP / ASP.NET 2.0 or higher oVisual Basic .NET oIDE - Visual Studio 2008 or higher oReports - SQL Server Reporting Services oWindows Scripting/ VB Script oOracle 10g (Fine grain access control/ Database objects / Policies) or higher oXML .Current experience with other web technologies, frameworks or services such as WCF, AJAX is a plus .Should have at least 3 years of overall development experience and 1 year in enterprise software development .Strong knowledge of object oriented programming, RDBMS and data models is required .Works well in a team environment and be able to effectively drive solutions that have complex dependencies and requirements Kindly submit the resumes with the complete information of Rate, Contact, Availability, Location & Visa status to speed up the submission process.
