Sr Sharepoint Architect Chicago 6+ Months
RESPONSIBILITES: • *SharePoint MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0* hands on management and development across all versions. • Serves as the focal point for coordination of *infrastructure* needs and resources. • Drive and manage the requirements gathering, project tasks/milestone, project status, dependencies, and timelines, to ensure the projects are launched successfully and on time while meeting the business objectives. • Identify, manage, and mitigate all issues and risks to minimize impact to project scope and schedule. • Align with other concurrent and related projects that feed into the core project. Identify cross project dependencies. • Work with technical project teams and Help Desk to develop support strategy and execution • Reviews project plans with IS Management, the development team, Project Sponsor, and participants so that key milestones and critical path activities are understood by all. • Manages the scope and change control of project to ensure project milestones are not impacted • Ensure standard practices are adhered to for all phases of development • Facilitates communication among team members through project team meetings or other means appropriate for the project • Expertise and in-depth knowledge of *MOSS 2007 implementation* including the integration of email integration, presence, extranet security, windows rights management, unified communications and business intelligence • Managed a MOSS implementation from outset to completion • *Experience managing* *large development and infrastructure projects*; ability to juggle multiple projects • Familiarity with *enterprise system support processes* including change control, problem management and escalation procedures • Proven results as a lead on *Enterprise scale projects** *• Working knowledge of network and telecom technologies • *10+ years in Infrastructure Project Management experience is required** *• Ability to grasp complex technical issues quickly • Ability to work in a team atmosphere • Work effectively with a minimum of direction • Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Proven project management skills • Ability to coordinate across multiple technology areas to achieve project results • Solid written and oral communication skills. Able to get ideas across in a non-confrontational manner in one-to-one situations, small groups, and before large audiences. • Experience interacting with and managing vendors • Prior financial/bank experience is highly desired • Must have a thorough understanding of the Core Infrastructure (i.e. Operating System, Web Server, SQL, Active Directory, DR) • Must be knowledgeable of additional Enterprise infrastructure (Security, Network, Database etc.) • Strong working technical knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and SQL server -- Thanks & Regards Naveen Maripax LLC E-Mail: [email protected] URL: www.maripax.com
