Hello All, Please send resumes to [email protected] ============ Position : Network Engineer Location : Local to Bay Area, CA Duration : 6 months Plus Previous experience in Cisco highly desired Responsibilities will include: - Understanding Application logical Architecture and the physical deployment of the logical components. - Analyzing network protocols used by the Application for network in-efficiencies. - Analyzing Application for susceptibility to network latency. - Recommending strategies to reduce network footprint of the application. Required Skills (at least 3): - Knowledge of Application protocols (HTTP/HTTPs, SMTP, FTP, TNS, SQLNET, JMS, DNS). - Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and concepts such as Nagle Algorithm, Slow Start, Flow & congestion control etc. - Knowledge of network & routing protocols (EIGRP, HSRP, MTU, MSS etc) and load balancing (VIP, GSLB etc) - Knowledge of application Caching methodologies (browser web cache, DNS Cache, DB cache etc). - Knowledge of Web technologies and their network footprint (AJAX, REST, SOAP, J2EE) - Knowledge of Application frameworks (DOJO, YUI, etc) Minimum requirements: - Experience with using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, OPNET ACE. - BS in Computer Science/Engineering. - Software Development/Test background (minimum 3 years). - Proficient in creating presentations and reports. ================== Thanks and Regards Aditya AIT Resource Group Inc [email protected] 847-598-4444 Ext 8810
