* * *I'm looking to fill the following need ASAP in Warren, NJ. * * * *J2EE Architect & Lead * *LOCATION: Warren, NJ * *START DATE: ASAP* *END DATE: 9/30/2010* * * *Role Description: * * * *Design and develop Rich Internet Application (RIA) to allow business users to make modifications to Transaction Data (Contracts) during a daily and month-end processing cycle.* * * *Own delivery of entire piece of system or application* *Gather and analyze business and functional requirements, and translate requirements into technical specifications for robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture* *Lead a team of Senior and mid-level Software Engineers* *Actively participate in the design/architecture of new solutions* *Write design specifications, programming specifications, and documentation* *Develop systems and APIs for interfacing with open and proprietary network services and complex business logic/algorithms* *Be an active participant in an Agile/SCRUM environment* * * *Architecture Stack:* * * *Primary Language – Java* *JEE Application Container - Weblogic* *User Interface – Java Flex* *Java Libraries – Apache POI* *Process Management – AquaLogic BPM* *Data Services - Adobe LCDS* *Data Access – Hibernate* *Framework – Spring* *Job Scheduler - Autosys* *Business Intelligence Reporting Tool - Cognos* *SSO - Siteminder* *RDBMS - Oracle* *ETL and Business Rule Management - Ab Initio* * * *Experience:* * * *• 8+ years of experience in software engineering (OOAD, OOP), ideally in a leading Financial Services company* *• 5+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE Development* *• 2+ years of technical leadership experience* *• Hands-on design, architecture and implementation experience with J2EE and related platform technologies (JMS, JMX, Spring, Hibernate)* *• Experience with Web Services architectures* *• Experience working with product managers, project manager, producers, and other engineers during the analysis, design, and execution phases of an engineering project* *• Ability to learn and contribute quickly and work independently* *• Experience in all aspects of the development of dynamic and distributed Web based applications, including gathering requirements and feedback from internal customers, providing creative direction, and defining and implementing advanced technical solutions. * *• Experience in a fast-paced, technical environment* *• Have played the role of Architect and Senior Developer * * * *Must have skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, Strong J2EE Architecture skills, Team Leadership and Client Management*
