*Please let me now if you have the consultant perfectly matching with the requirements. * * * *Required Skills : *BUSINESS ANALYST, EQUITIES *Consultant Type : *Consultant *Job Length : *6 Months *Location : *New York, NY *Rate* : Open *Job Description:* Role: • Facilitate business requirements gathering and scope definition process together with Business Users (including data requirements, report and query requirements, etc). • Produce functional and non-functional business requirements and specification documents; obtain business signoff. The requirements should cover front-to-back flow, not just in the context of one system. • Work with BAs and SME in other regions to build a global cross product picture of the requirements. • Work closely with the technical team to ensure that detailed design meets business requirements specs. • Provide timely feedback on issues, risks, and status of all tasks assigned to Project Managers. • Ensure that developed applications meet specifications prior to implementation. Candidate will be responsible for: • Responsible for ensuring that the IT solution is fit for purpose against business requirements. • Provide status reports to Business showing progress of book of work and assist with prioritization of work. • Business Requirement including current state flows, business objectives and details that support end to end flow from origination of trade to settlement. • Business Functional Specification including detailed expectations as to how each part of the system performs in its proposed state. • Work with development team to ensure product delivery is timely and of high quality. • Use Case Scenarios detailing expectations for use of the system for every business event that triggers action in the system in the proposed state. • Participate in deployment including release related documentation and training. • Assisting development and QA teams with resolutions for issues • Provide Tier 2 support on Production and Training Issues. Qualifications: Essential ? 5+ years working experience as Business Analyst ? 5+ years writing Business Requirements, Functional Specifications ? Strong prior experience in developing use cases ? Strong data query, analysis and modeling skills ? 3+ years of working knowledge of Domestic and International Equity Markets ? 3+ years of working knowledge with Front Office Technologies Desirable ?
