Business analysis, application architecture, design, development, integration and delivery. 2. Application maintenance and support. 3. Top level technical expert in multiple specialized phases of application development. 4. Working independently within guidelines, provides technical consulting on complex projects considering equipment capacity, limitations, operating time and desired results. 5. Creates detailed technical designs and develops applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. 6. Writes new systems or applications of high complexity and scope, utilizing standard procedures and techniques. 7. Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems. 8. Partners with business personnel to conduct analysis of organizational needs. 9. May have senior quality assurance review responsibilities and duties including instructing, directing and reviewing work and responsibilities of other development team members. *Required Skills:* 1. Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills. 2. Extensive creativity required across areas of expertise. 3. A high proficiency level in specific job related skills is required. 4. Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job. 5. Experience with JAVA technologies, JSP, Servlets, Applets 6. Experience with relational database design and modeling. 7. Experience with Oracle Databases including PL/SQL scripting 8. Experience with UNIX. 9. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 10. Understand of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). *Preferred Skills:* 1. Bachelors Degree in related field preferred. 2. Minimum five (5) years related experience preferred. 3. Versioning Control System: CVS preferred. 4. Creation and parsing/consumption of XML 5. Interfacing Applications to Middleware platforms. 6. Enterprise Reporting in Oracle. 7. Python 8. MQ 9. Knowledge on Mainframe is a plus.
