The developer will be responsible to lead end-to-end integration application development, starting with the design phase. *MUST HAVES:* · Expert JAVA development (1.5 or above) · Thorough knowledge of INTEGRATION and Middleware Application Development · Application design and development on the ORACLE 10gR3 and / or BEA WLI 10x platform · Must hit the ground running! Self-starter! *Qualifications Required:* -Architecture and design experience for Middleware/EI type applications -Designing/developing web services -Have designed or contributed to the design (functional) of interfaces/services connecting at least two end systems. -Development skills: Oracle 10gR3, Java, XML, JAX-B, JAXWS, SOAP, jDeveloper, Oracle Service Bus, Security, ANT Scripting, ANT Source Control (ClearCase, PVCS or similar tools). -Knowledge of design patterns, etc. -Working knowledge of Oracle 10gR3 – must have developed at least one service in production. -Must have working knowledge and/or advanced level knowledge of J2EE; EJB3; Eclipse 3; JMS -Business Partners interfacing - will have to attend meetings and answer design questions from the business partners. -Ability to mentor and answer integration and design questions from developers and technical leads. -Ability to consult re "best industry standards" regarding integration, open standards, etc. -Senior level knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle. -Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to analyze technical information and work with a team spirit. -Self-motivated with strong communication and written skills. *Desired:* · Excellent Knowledge of applications/systems integration · Working knowledge of UC4, XML, XML Schema · Knowledge of communication protocols such as FTP, SCP and VPN · Knowledge of encryption/decryption of PGP.
