We would also accept US Citizens / Green cards who are on a 1099 with your company.* Location: Jersey City, NJ Start: ASAP Duration: 6 months *NOTE: This is not a Web Designer role, this is a user experience, usability, information architecture kind of a person* Required: 3+ years designing Web-based transactional products (i.e., e-commerce, banking, etc.) and large-scale consumer websites Client is seeking a detail-oriented Interaction Designer / Prototyper to join the User Experience Group in Jersey City. This is a contract position. The team is a highly-collaborative group of multidisciplinary design professionals. They are looking to design the best client experience in the financial industry. This individual will be responsible proving out functional concepts and ideas through the creation of prototypes. The qualified individual, looking for a passionate and creative team should immediately apply. Responsibilities: · Perform qualitative user research; establish design personas and scenarios. · Collaborate with strategy, marketing and the business to develop interface behavior and brand consistency across all products and services. · Represent the needs of the user throughout discovery, design, and development; balance business needs and technical feasibility. · Extend concepts through the construction of high fidelity prototypes that can be iteratively tested with users and presented to client business leads. · Work closely with the Client Side Development Team, ensuring prototypes can quickly be turned into production ready code with little to no modifications. · Participate in usability studies to evolve the client interface to meet accessibility and usability standards.
