Novell Consultant - Netware Elimination Project

This should be a server type person but with a Novel skill set twist.
Urgent Need.
Design, test, build and support Netware distributed (File Share) solutions for 
strategic initiatives. Skills must include:
·         in-depth experience with Novell NetWare 6.5 solution/applications, 
Windows 2003, IP based services (LDAP, DNS, etc), desktop and server 
architecture.
·         Must have strong troubleshooting skills and be customer focused.
·         Must have experience with large complete distributed solutions in 
environment.
·         5 years experience planning, designing & implementing Netware 
solutions based on business requirements.
·         3 years of experience in leading technical teams in problem 
resolution.
·         2 years project management experience; specifically leading projects 
from start to finish.
·         3 years supporting large IT environment supporting Distributed 
computing platforms, including resolving complex system problems.


Position Requirements:
This position is responsible for managing small to mid-scale projects in 
accordance to the project approach, structure, and charter in order to support 
the successful implementation of new applications and systems based on business 
and customer objectives. Applies project management methodology and standards 
to project activities in order to meet clients business expectations. Defines 
and manages project approach, structure, and charter through the establishment 
of project requirements and planning.
·         Defines standards, methodologies, and processes to ensure efficient 
development and implementation of systems.
·         Develops and manages the projects tasks and dependencies to ensure 
that development activities are consistent with established I.. standards as 
well as those business objectives.
·         Develops documentation and reports regarding project status, issues, 
and risks. Prepares management reports summarizing resource utilization as well 
as how project plans are performing against critical schedules and budgets.
·         Develops, manages, and monitors the project budget, schedule and 
scope.
