Title : Performance Test Lead
Location : Columbus, OH
Duration : 6 + months
Start Date : ASAP
Performance Test Lead is responsible for planning and executing performance tests for critical customer applications. This includes definition of test plans, workload models, schedules, verification of test scripts, analysis of performance test results and coordination of testing activities in a team.
Responsibilities:
* Leads identified for every critical application and tools will act as single point of contact for testing of identified application
* Also responsible for all activities identified during and post-transition
* Leads identified for each critical applications performance testing area will travel onsite during knowledge transfer and job shadowing
* Understand system test plans, system tests, and release process
* Understand acceptance criteria and deliverables
Job Qualifications:
7 + years of IT Experience
2 + years of Test Lead Experience
At least 4 years of performance testing experience using HP Loadrunner/Performance Center
Expertise in software testing lifecycle and performance testing methodologies
Expertise in performance test design, planning, specification, scripting, test data preparation, execution, and analysis of results
Expertise in creating test schedules and coordination of test activities in a team
Excellent communication skills
* Demonstrate knowledge of the Software Testing Methodology.
* Demonstrate knowledge of the Application Development Life Cycle.
* Understand the test data preparation process
* Review and study existing test scenarios
* Understand process followed in Test Design
* Understand the load test framework
* Participate in design, development and review of load test scripts
* Understand current scripting standards
* Participate in Test script execution, defect reporting and tracking.
* Participate in test result analysis and document the same.
* Demonstrate experience in developing complex load test scripts for a variety of protocols.
