Siebel Specialization
This position is for an Developer / Data Analyst to work in a Siebel CRM
database environment, within a larger Data Warehouse organization.
The following are anticipated to be the products/tools associated with the
environment:
- Unix / AIX platforms
- Unix scripting languages
- Oracle database technologies (10g or higher)
- Oracle SQL - PL/SQL programming
- Siebel CRM Base
- Siebel Integration Manager
- Siebel Tools
- Knowledge / experience in additional Siebel products also beneficial.
- Netezza and/or SyncSort experience a plus.
- Communication skills and experience in a collaborative working environment
a must.
Candidates should have 2+ years experience in high volume Data Warehousing
environment, with a minimum of 1+ years experience with the Siebel
products/toolset. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the
following:
- Siebel product knowledge, inclusive of required toolsets to manage a CRM
database.
- Data management, analysis, and validation activities inclusive of ongoing
data quality and maintenance.

Job responsibilities include:
* Create technical design documentation from functional requirements
* Delegate work and track progress against deliverables, ensure quality.
* Develop, modify, maintain and integration framework, system
integrations, workflows, dashboards.

* At least 2-3 years of practical development experience using OBI-EE,
Siebel Analytics, Oracle BI Applications (version 7.9.5 or higher)
* Strong working knowledge of Siebel Marketing module, Siebel OLTP
Database, EIM and Data cleansing Tools is required.
* Experience integrating Siebel system with other Enterprise
applications using Siebel out of box service extenders or using custom
integration
* Experience in integrating with 3rd party Data Quality Tools
* Experience in integrating with large Data warehouse systesms,Content
Management Systems,LDAP,TAM is a big plus
* Strong working knowledge of Data Mapping and cross references to
external systems is desired.
* Knowledge on integrating with 3rd party Email systems,SMS gateways is
a plus.
* Must have full knowledge of the security architecture of OBIEE to
enable role/ access based user management on OBIEE Reports / Dashboards
* Must have designed parameterized reports and page level parameterized

Major Accountabilities:
· Determine the Siebel system configuration requirements necessary to meet
the business requirements in such a way as to minimize any custom code and
keep the Siebel implementation as ¿generic¿ as possible
· Lead process-mapping sessions and functional workshops
· Perform fit-gap analysis and develop migration and transition plans for
new implementations and system conversions
· Configure and customize Screens, Views, and Applets per business
requirements using Siebel Tools and Siebel scripting
