*Requirement:* * * Position: Sharepoint Developer Locaion: NYC (Local from NY) Duration: 5 months Rate: Competitive/Hr *Skills set:* *Sharepoint or MOSS, Active directory, MCTS 70-630 or MCTS 70-542* SCOPE OF SERVICES The consultant will be required to analyze the overall business and systems needs of HPD, architect solutions in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and plan the activities necessary to deliver SharePoint solutions. Additionally, the Senior SharePoint Consultant will implement and/or direct the successful implementation of SharePoint solutions. The Senior SharePoint Consultant will be an integral part of the project team, helping to foster trusted relationships and assisting HPD in realizing maximum value from their investment in SharePoint technologies. In this role, the consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing a superlative user experience in SharePoint for HPD. *Responsibilities:* • Evaluate HPD's business needs and document them as business requirements • Hands-on involvement in the full development cycle, including design, development, quality assurance, deployment, and documentation • Implement rich client experiences in SharePoint, developed utilizing Data View Web Parts, InfoPath forms and jQuery with SharePoint Designer, interacting with Web Services, Browser Forms, InfoPath Form Services, Excel Services, SQL Reporting Services, and Microsoft Project Server • Serve as a technical subject matter expert to users, customers and other team members • Plan and execute strategies to deploy version upgrades for user interfaces • Keep up with technology and interface design to help our SharePoint practice grow by constantly championing better ways to provide our clients with improved (and richer) experiences on SharePoint • Develop an approach, plan activities and estimate the level of effort that lead to meeting project objectives • Contribute to business development activities such as the development of presentations, proposals and proof of concept in MOSS 2007 *MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note:* candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered. • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, and /or Information Systems or equivalent relevant experience • 4+ years experience working in a consulting environment • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying SharePoint solutions • 3+ years of experience with Active Directory • Strong experience in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 User Interface Design and Development • Proficiency in customizing and branding MOSS 2007 Sites and Team Sites, using SharePoint Designer • Hands-on experience with User Interface design and development, utilizing DHTML/HTML, XML/XSLT, and/or CSS • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and organize their work schedule to maximize performance with little or no supervision • Expert knowledge of Office Client Suite Integration, Forms Services, Reporting Services and/or Excel Services • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to effectively interact with clients, co-workers, team members, and company subcontractors • Experience writing requirements documentation and design documentation for MOSS 2007 and/or SharePoint Portal Server and/or WSS sites • Ability to read and interpret documents such as requirements documents, installation instructions, technical articles and procedure manuals • Ability to write clear, concise reports, requirement definitions, and correspondence • Ability to lead an implementation team consisting of other junior SharePoint consultants *DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:* • MCTS 70-630: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 -- Configuration Certification • MCTS 70-542: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 -- Application Development Certification • Knowledge of third party add-ons to SharePoint • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 • Demonstrated ability to develop rapid prototypes • Proficiency in the SharePoint Object Model Best Regards, Mukul ll Sr. Technical Recruiter ll X-istech Ph: 347-414-8138 ll Email: [email protected] ll URL: www.x-istech.com To unsubscribe from this group, send email to tek-professionals+unsubscribegooglegroups.com or reply to this email with the words "REMOVE ME" as the subject.
