Requirement description:
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:* Design and develop Enterprise Master Data application
solutions using Java and Oracle Understand business requirements, interpret
into system solutions and develop a design ensuring all possible scenarios
have been covered Create and coordinate prototype and demonstration sessions
as a proof of concept Create and document technical design solutions Assist
in testing, which includes performance and stress; interpret statistics to
ensure a stable, quality system is maintained Work closely with developers
to ensure quality development practices (tuning, error handling, auditing,
re-usable processes, etc.) Able to provide tuning and design/architecture
improvements to existing code solutions Excellent time management skills
with ability to multi-task across projects and prioritize Able to mentor
junior team members
*QUALIFICATIONS:* 8+ years overall IT experience 5 years or more in web
development using Java and struts framework 5+ years of Oracle & SQL
experience Good understanding of industry best practices (Initial design,
process logging, error logging, communications, reusable processes, etc.)
Practice Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process Excellent technical
documentation skills (use of ER diagrams) Good knowledge of hardware and
software capabilities Highly motivated individual with good customer
relationship & support skills and the ability to learn quickly Good
communication skills and self starter Objective-oriented with dedication and
commitment to job duties Strong Java Web Application development skills and
experience which include Servlet, JSP, Struts Framework, JDBC, WebSphere,
Tomcat, Eclipse, Javascript, HTML, css. Ajax is a plus. Good Oracle
development skills and experience which include Query, Stored Procedures,
Functions, Packages. Trigger is a plus. Good problem solver and team
player.
