This individual will join a team involved with a GIS 4.1.1 to Si 5.0 upgrade and they would like the individual to start on April 12th 2010 but also indicated that they could start them earlier if they find them in time. I do not have a targeted Corp to Corp pay rate for this because it will depend on what the individual is bringing to the table. It is a competitive situation though and rate will play a part in the decision making process so we’ll need to keep it within market range. Please provide contact information for your candidates so that I can assess their communication skills and discuss the opening with them directly. *Project: GIS(Gentran Integration Suite) Upgrade from 4.1.1 version to 5.0* *Theme:* To install, develop, upgrade, test, monitor and maintain high performance business workflows in the *SI* environments to maintain high levels of data availability and throughput in support of business community. ** *Expected Duties:* * Provide expertise in *GIS/SI* flows testing, Systems Administration, activities to include general troubleshooting, system performance tuning, applying vendor-supplied patches. * Develop and maintain system documentation and training materials for * GIS/SI* system administration. * Develop and test business workflows in the *GIS/SI* Development and QA system environments and prepare promotion tasks to the Production Environments. * Perform configuration, management, and maintenance tasks for *GIS/SI*application. * Develop, implement and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications and upgrades to *GIS/SI* business objects. * Transactional Data management including archiving and purging, import and export of data objects, and data refreshes of Development, QA and Production environments. * Lead small to medium complexity technical projects. Work with business, database and application development teams and report progress of project throughout project lifecycle. * Design technical solutions, manage development of technical solutions, test plans and lead testing. * Modification of existing maps, business process for any unforeseen issues during the upgrade. *Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:* (Below skill set is expected minimum in Gentran Integration Suite 4.1 through 4.3, good to have similar experience in 5.0) * Sufficient formal and/or informal training experience in *GIS* System administration, maintenance, installation, configuration, tuning and programming.
