*Location: Austin, TX* ** *Length: 12 months * *Positions: 3* Required Experience: o Have 5 plus years of development experience on WebSphere Commerce v6.0 or above, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, JavaScript, HTML, and DB2. o Develop customization for WebSphere Commerce (Controller Commands, Task Commands, JSPs, Data Beans, Entity Beans, Session Beans) using WebSphere Application Developer and Rational Developer. o Experience with Catalog Subsystem, Member Subsystem, and Order Management Subsystem and Payment Subsystem and WebSphere Commerce Accelerator. Technical/Functional Skills: o WebSphere Commerce v6.0 or above, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, JavaScript, HTML, and DB2. o Understanding of Software Development Life cycle o Experience on Search Engine Optimization would be an added advantage o Understanding of Ecommerce/Web technologies, including UNIX, windows, network, monitoring, storage, db2 o Demonstrated breadth of IT knowledge ranging from Web Middleware, Web Protocols, Java, eCommerce, Networking, Operating Systems (unix and windows) o Performance, Configuration and Change Management, IBM HTTP Server, Websphere MQ, and related middleware in a Unix environment. o Highly capable of building tools and scripts to automate and simplify system operations processes in a unix environment using scripting languages or environments such as Korn shell, Perl, etc. o Understanding of J2EE application packaging and deployment to implement and support scripts that automate the build and deployment process using Ant or similar build tool. o Experience supporting Endeca Search in a Windows / Linux environment will be an added advantage The WCS Developer will be responsible for: o Development and support of new applications based on WCS platform, software and user support on small to mid-sized projects. o Monitor and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved. o Perform root cause analysis for Assist in Project team on roll-out implementation. o Ability to take business requirements and develop functional design and help in technical design. o Ability to work with remote teams o Ability to manage project scope. o Ability to ensure quality of the delivered components. o Onshore / Offshore team management, capacity planning. o Offshore co-ordination for construction and testing of defects/BRs, review and code delivery.
