*Job Description:*
CHEP is the global leader in pallet and container pooling services serving
over 300,000 customers around the world in 44 countries from a network of
over 440 service centers.
The SAP Enterprise Portal design integrates Web Dynpro, J2EE design
patterns, multiple ERP systems (SAP ECC 6.0 and Siebel CRM) to provide
access to various custom applications.
· Designed and created several WebDynpro applications for Sales
order activities and vendor portal activities.
· Designed and created several WebDynpro applications for Sales

· Worked with UME API to create user groups according to the region
since there are users from more than 100 countries involved in the business.
· Used Subscription events to re-use existing functionality in
separate DC’s.
· Prepared Technical Design, System Integration Test case,
deployment, Training (gives information on usage of portal to end users) and
Release documents.
· Used NWDI (NetWeaver Development Infrastructure) for Application
lifecycle management including source code version control including the
DTR, CBS in this project.
· Worked extensively on NWDI related issues including integrating
conflicts while working with various tracks.
· Set up a NWDI track management standards to plan the releases
accordingly, Organized import of activities within several tracks to resolve
transport issues.
· Consumed several existing EJB interfaces into WebDynpro

offline vendors through interactive adobe forms, CAF-GP and Portal.
· Designed the portal workflow (GP) where the vendor quoted price
will go for 2 level of approval and then get uploaded in SAP R/3, Used
CAF-GP, Portal, WebDynpro for Java and RFC to achieve the solution.
· Analysis, debugging, testing and solutions of the change
request/enhancements received from the client and user.
