Scope and Impact: a.. Responsible for managing test hardware and servers for Collaboration Services product development and test teams b.. Support for development and test environments for custom Windows software and services c.. Role and responsibilities will be directly involved in the software development life cycle (SDLC) d.. Installation, configuration and troubleshooting complex systems consisting of custom and off the shelf software e.. Troubleshooting and support of network devices such as routers and switches f.. Provides desktop and laptop support for Collaboration Services team g.. Works on projects of all sizes (small, medium and large) h.. Working with on-shore and off-shore development, test and operations staff i.. Preparing and presenting status updates for tasks j.. Evaluating and building new tools, scripts and technologies to support job responsibilities k.. Ensuring project process is followed (assignment objectives, post assignment performance reviews, etc.) l.. Identifies ways to improve the operation of own area and to achieve efficiencies and results Requirements: a.. Minimum of 5+ years networking experience. b.. In-depth and hands on Experience in complex WAN and LAN architecture and topologies design c.. In-depth hands on experience with common Network hardware and architecture including Cisco and F5 d.. In-depth experience in Active Directory, TCP/IP and routing protocols, DNS, DHCP, WINs, Cisco routers and switches, firewalls. e.. Excellent hardware and networking skills for Windows Operating Systems. f.. Install server OS and related applications i.e. virus software, backup etc. g.. Experience with set up and management of vSphere Virtualization technology h.. Working experience in Data Center, software development and test environments. i.. Experience with configuration and troubleshooting of network devices j.. Some experience in scripting abilities (custom scripting for configuration management and network monitoring) k.. Manages machine and network inventory l.. Technical documentation skills such as network logical and physical diagrams m.. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005 a plus n..
