Title : Project Manager - SAP BI Location : Houston, TX Duration : 11 months Start Date : ASAP The Project Manager responsibilities include: • Gather business requirements with a keen understanding of how to capture actionable KPIs • Project planning activities (Front End Loading “FEL”) including the development of a fully loaded resource project plan and schedule • Document the business case, scope, and deliverables • Develop and manage a detailed project plan in Microsoft Project • Prepare and manage the project budget • Prepare updates for Advisory and Steering Teams • Lead the development and implementation of the project to successful completion that delivers the defined business benefits. • Manage scope to ensure project stays on schedule and within budget • Effectively manage project activities including communications, organizational change management, design, development, testing, data preparation, conversion, and training • Prepare system documentation • Provide training to IT support organizations who will assume ongoing support responsibilities for the project deliverables • Work with the project team, IT, and business representatives to establish outcomes and drive results. • Produce weekly status and earned value reports • Produce project close reports and lessons learned • Project Manager will be expected to adhere to established Customers project management practices – training will be provided SAP BI Consultant with strong Project Management experience. • 7+ years experience in project management that includes managing software implementation projects with interfaces to multiple applications and platforms • Extensive experience with SAP BI, data warehouses, Oracle & Microsoft Performance Point Server • Extensive experience designing reports that measure KPI metrics • Extensive experience working with the business to identify key performance indicators to measure business process effectiveness • Project Management experience with software implementations that include scoping, planning, development, testing, training, and cutover activities. • Experience with timelines, budgets, allocating resources (financial and technical). • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strongly proficient in Microsoft Project Regards, Jason Power IT Trailblazers, LLC Phone: (732) 227-1772 Extn 310 Fax: (732) 909-2358 100, Jersey Avenue, Suite B-201, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 www.ittblazers.com || Email: [email protected] If you no longer wish to receive emails from IT Trailblazers, please reply to this message with "REMOVE" as the subject line.
