ID Software Developer Description Primary responsibilities include setting up, configuring & administering the necessary infrastructure to support open source SW development projects (e.g. ANDROID, Linux Kernel, GIT, REPO and other related tools). . Proficient with Android based CM tools & utilities, e.g. git & repo . Proficient with Linux kernel & internals (Ubuntu preferred), including system set-up, initialization & configuration, administration & troubleshooting, installation & maintenance of various open source modules. . Proficient with SW Build Systems (e.g. GNU Make highly preferred) on both Linux & Cygwin environment. Must have strong capability (read Guru) to troubleshoot & enhance existing Makefiles. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with PERL/Python, Bash/Shell scripts . In depth knowledge of Linux/UNIX & Windows internals . Must have good hands on knowledge of different popular Source-code Version Control systems (e.g. git, SVN, Perforce, Clearcase) . Sincere, Responsible, Result-oriented and Flexible with proven experience of working in a demanding performance-based environment . Excellent communication skills and attention to detail .Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills.
