Job Description:

Responsibilities:
This position is for a regional Business Object Administrator, who will have 
responsibilities in three key areas:

*       Providing 2nd level application support for a global shared service 
based upon Business Objects Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and Desktop 
Intelligence on the Business Objects XI 3.1 platform.  Support a customer base 
of 70 plus reporting projects for over 5,000 end-users.

-  Maintain, support, deploy and monitor a federated global standard Infoview 
intranet infrastructure regionally deployed on over 12 servers on the following 
platforms:

*  Windows 2003 Server R2 with IIS
     Application Servers: Weblogic 9.X and IIS

*  Infrastructure projects, such as upgrade, patches, server build-outs and 
hardware replacement.

*       Providing 2nd level application support for a global shared service 
based upon Business Objects Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and Desktop 
Intelligence on the Business Objects XI 3.1 platform.  Support a customer base 
of 70 plus reporting projects for over 5,000 end-users.
-   Support customer reporting applications built with the standard Web 
Intelligence portal as well as customer portals built with the WebI SDK (ASP 
and JSP).
-   Maintain, support, deploy and monitor a federated global standard Infoview 
intranet infrastructure regionally deployed on over 12 servers on the following 
platforms:

*       Windows 2003 Server R2 with IIS
         Application Servers: Weblogic 9.X and IIS
*       Lead infrastructure projects, such as upgrade, patches, server 
build-outs and hardware replacement.
       Provide centralized repository administration, security administration, 
and change management for the reporting project teams.
         Work closely with product and engineering teams to:
*       define specifications for value added tools
        define requirements for engineering of new releases
        provide infrastructure consultancy for new SDK web applications.
*       Provide 24 x 5 on site support and on-call support during weekends.
         Coordinate internal Business Objects support operations to:
*       distribute and assign internal support calls
         execute change management tickets on-time and correctly
        follow-up on escalated issues
        support the internal 24x7 help desk
        improve support efficiency
*       Maintain procedures and perform tests for Business Contingency 
Planning/Disaster Recovery.
        Document infrastructure deployments, support policies and procedures
