Title: Business/Systems Analyst Duration: Though September Rate: $44/hr Profile: Business/system analyst with 6+ years of experience with at least 3 years working in investment banking firms. Required for performing analysis and development tasks for rates and credit derivatives set up for Front office IT. Ability to multitask across many projects, independently manage and deliver complex assignments, and handle communication with senior stakeholders required. Technical and business skills below- Technical Skills: Required: Experience in writing Shell/Perl scripts and set up batches for generating feed files. Proficiency in application development and knowledge of C#, or C++ a distinct plus. Proficiency in requirements analysis, and functional design including creation of functional specs, use cases, and design specs Experience in derivatives pricing/risk analytics, especially development of Excel spreadsheets and configuration of analytics tools/applications for performing such tasks Optional: Experience in managing or supporting re-engineering or legacy modernization type of projects Configuration management and release management experience Business Skills: Required: Exposure to rates and credit derivatives, preferably credit derivatives Exposure to front office business processes and good understanding of F2B flow of derivatives trades (for instance – integrating with various market data sources, basic understanding of the concepts of valuation and risk management, arrangement and execution of EOD processes etc.) Optional: Commodities experience and understanding of the business Project Context Objective: Structured credit deals (default swaps) migration from legacy applications to intended current state apps (structured rates and credit derivatives apps) . The developer/analyst needs to manage key tasks related to this transition, especially around organizing the EOD batch set up and any other tasks related to the larger transition program.
