Description:
Title: SQM Consultant - Client is seeking a motivated and talented
individual to join our Technology team in the Software Quality Management
Group as a consultant.
Responsibilities:
. Creating and executing test scripts/plans/cases based on business
requirements for trading applications and market operations support tools
. Performing user acceptance and regression testing
. Reporting and managing issues and test activities on a regular basis
. Duties involve a high level of interaction with developers and end users
Required Experience
Candidate must meet the following criteria:
. 2-5 plus years of relevant IT experience
. 2-5 plus years testing experience
. Experience with developing test scripts and test plans
. Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
. Familiarity with Processes and Procedures as they pertain to test and
industry standards
. Independent testing of Client Server based applications
. Financial industry experience (stocks, options, futures) a strong plus
. Knowledge of Spread trading strategies a strong plus
. Must be self starter and have the ability to work independently and within
a team
. Strong analytical skills and multi-tasking required
. Experience with QA automation tools a plus
