Title : QA Test Engineer Rate : $45/Hr on CTC Ideal candidate would have experience with Back-end testing, transactions, credit card testing, and/or data testing. REQUIREMENTS: *Back end testing *Transactional testing, data testing, credit card testing experience *Experience with one or more of the major RDBMS (Oracle or DB2) *Working knowledge of SQL, UNIX, XML, Web Services *Knowledge of back office Credit and Operational processes (Credit/Underwriting, Settlement, Chargeback) preferred *Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to communicate across business and technical teams *Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills *Knowledge of FDR or TSYS a plus *Programming skills in JAVA, Groovy, PERL, etc a big plus!! JOB DESCRIPTION: *Perform and manage QA testing in an Agile development environment *Partner with technical and business teams to achieve a deep understanding of current and future functionality *Promote and make use of automated testing tools for functional and regression testing *Communicate, track and maintain the status of defects *Prepare and review test cases, plans and data *Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure delivery with the highest levels of quality *Test multiple projects simultaneously against tight timelines *Collaborate with teams in various locations and time zones *Participate and help drive the deployment process to production *Candidate is needed to perform testing across a suite of financial products. *Work closely with a cross-functional team including business leaders, development engineers and project managers to execute testing within an extremely fast-paced environment. *Create test plans and test cases; perform functional and automated testing, and report and track defects. *Work closely with developers to isolate and reproduce defects. *Participate in requirements meetings, design sessions, and test case reviews.
