financialservices company based in Chicago has a need for a Sr. Web 2.0 Client sideDeveloper, for a long term 18-month contract with the possibility ofconversion. You will join a team of architects / developers / designers workingon the implementation of new clearing / risk management applications using Web2.0 technologies: ExtJS 3.0, JSON, Spring MVC, Java, and DB2. An architectureframework has been built in-house already on top of these technologies tostandardize the usage and enhance the functionality provided by the underlyingframeworks - a number of clearing applications were developed using thisarchitecture framework. The new developer will help with making furtherenhancements / extensions to the existing architecture framework to meet newuser requirements, development of new client-side plugins, and promote the adoptionof coding patterns that improve the maintainability of _javascript_ client-sidecode. The role also involves active development of new GUI applications andmaintenance of existing ones. This is a great organization offering achallenging, supportive and pleasant work environment.

Requirements:
*Minimum 3- 4 years of experience.
* 2+ years of _javascript_ / Web 2.0 / AJAX experience (ExtJS, JSON, AJAX).
* Strong (minimum 2+ years) client-side architecture and reusable GUIcomponents design / implementation.
* 3+ years of Object Oriented Design and Development.
* 2+ years of Visual Design / User Interface skills.
* Strong problem solving and communication skills; team player.
* 2+ years of Java / Spring MVC experience highly preferred.
* 2+ years of SQL / DB2 highly preferred.
