Job Title: PeopleSoft CS Technical- Developer Location: Tucson, AZ Duration: 3 - 6 Months Job Description: Specific duties include: . Determine scope and functional requirements for a software package to assist in all phases of the Graduate Student Tracking System . Assist Developers with feature design and data architecture . Recommend modifications to existing software as needed . Demonstrate working functional knowledge of software design lifecycle . Demonstrate working functional knowledge of relational database design . Mentor University employees and communicate best-practices and skills so others can assume these responsibilities in the future . Work with other developers, be able to provide accurate status to Technical Leads . Complete development in an expedited development environment to meet project timelines Special Qualifications: Required Skills: o Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate highly technical information to a diverse audience-both technical and non-technical. o Must know how to organize, coordinate and communicate work breakdown structures for software products. o Broad knowledge of the Peoplesoft Student Administration suite. Optional Skills: o Demonstrated experience programming in object-oriented PHP and the Model-View-Controller pattern. o Demonstrated experience in web application/user interface design.
