Rate $35 - 40hr MS ACCESS DEVELOPER NEEDED _____ Skills Required: . 5+ years work experience as a programmer analyst . Experience with and understanding of Shop Floor and Operations applications in a manufacturing environment. . Hands-on experience designing databases and writing stored procedures in a Microsoft SQL Server environment. . Heavy experience using the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. . Heavy experience with Microsoft Access and Access Project. An ability to convert Access tables to SQL Server tables, substituting SQL Queries and Stored Procedures for Access Queries and programming. Heavy experience with Microsoft Access Visual Basic programming and forms design. . Knowledge and experience with VB.NET programming is highly desireable but not specifically required by this project. . Knowledge of or experience with IBM iSeries DB2 database programming and use of related tools is highly desirable. . Must be able to work independently. This is a position for an experienced professional that does not require day to day monitoring by management. . Understanding of relational data structures, theories, principles, and practices. . Strong written and oral communication skills. . Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. . Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
