Position: PHP/ADSI Developer
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Duration: : 6 mths
Rate: $40/hr c2c
Summary of Role:
Assist the IT Application Specialist in developing tools for comparing
Active Directory accounts with data
exported from other systems, such as the Human Resources or phone system, in
order to verify the
accuracy of Active Directory information.
Specific Responsibilities:
Develop tools and processes to verify data in Active Directory.
1. Develop tools to take information exported from other systems and compare
this information
against Active Directory.
2. Develop tools to make changes to Active Directory based on the
information exported from
other systems.
3. Produce scheduled reports showing unauthorized accounts in Active
Directory for follow up by
technical staff.
Required Qualifications:
a. Must be familiar with PHP, ADSI, Apache web services, MySQL, LDAP, and
Visual Basic.
b. Must have a background in object-oriented programming.
c. Must be able to adhere to programming standards set by the IT Application
Specialist.
d. Experienced at debugging code.
e. Must have outgoing, affable personality; very cooperative attitude;
strong organizational skills;
efficient worker; an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Concepts:
Staffer will have to work closely with the IT Application Specialist to
coordinate all efforts on this project,
and will work under moderate supervision. Staffer will have to be able work
independently toward
established goals. Staffer will have to personally contact, and in some
cases visit with, technical team
leaders, as well as senior managers to achieve the desired results. Staffer
must be willing to seek out
the required resources and gather the required information under little
supervision.
