JOB description: Strong ADBA experience (atleast 8 years) Good experience in system adminstrative functions in oracle , sql server will be good to have, but not a must. - DML, DDL - Db export/import - Performance tuning. Understand the use of explain plan etc. - Creating database, users and setting roles, permissions Very good in PL/SQL (Atleast 8 years) Good experience in Unix is preferred. Proficient in Perl scripting is not a must, but highly preferred Decent experience in Javascript/vbscript and programming skills in Java or MS software platforms. Knowledge or experience in Tools like Quality Center, QTP, Load Runner, DOORS, StarTeam etc is an added advantage Automation skills highly preferred. Must have the interest in automation rather than doing manual tasks. Must be a self-starter and diligent. Must be very attentive and proactive.
