Java J2EE Developer / Contractor Client is seeking a Java Developer for help with design, implementation, and maintenance of a multi-tiered fuel and retail cross-marketing system. The candidate will be responsible for development and unit testing of distributed applications, and participating in code and design reviews. The candidate will also help with development and adapting frameworks and industry best practices, executing unit and performance testing, and coordinating these activities among the programming team. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with the Quality Assurance and Customer Support departments on research of and remedies for software bugs and issues found during QA, beta, and production. Required Experience: 8+ years overall programming experience. Minimum 6 years of Java experience J2EE experience in WebServices, Struts, EJB, Hibernate, Servlets, JMS and JSP JBoss Experience Have a good understanding of OO design Have strong analytical skills including troubleshooting. Be a team player while having the capacity to work independently. Must have Good oral and written communication. Candidate must be a career-oriented individual with strong communications and organizational skills. Must be able to interact well with clients and internal business units. BS or higher in Computer Science or comparable discipline. Desired: Magnolia experience is a bonus Experience with programming and maintenance of Oracle and MySQL relational databases.
