Job Responsibility:
Required skills
* Have strong skills with design authoring tools (Fireworks / Photoshop
/ Illustrator / Visio / etc)
* Design or fine arts degree
* Experience with AJAX
* Knowlege and use of HTML
* Good understanding of web design principals and front-end web
technologies.
* Experience with the development and maintenance of visual design
standards or a style guide.
- Desired skills (but not mandatory)
* knowledge and use of .css.
* Sketching skills.
- Technology candidate will use
* Design authoring tools
- Amount of experience required (in years)
* Five years minimum
- Level of proficiency
* High level of proficiency
- Detailed description of all deliverables (This project will deliver xxxx)
* create theme specifications for an existing web application
* create images for new features for existing web application
* create images for branding three different applications
* review all images (>250) used in web application for thematic
consistency, color harmony and proper sizing
- Description of how the candidate’s work product will be evaluated
* Work will be divided into a set of tasks. Task will be scheduled on a
repeating three week deadline.
* At the end of each deadline work will be reviewed by our UI designer,
Product Manger and two developers.
* Overall evaluation will consider timeliness, quality of work and
ability to work with the team.
- Details about the work environment (team, independent, etc.)
This individual will be working closely with our UI designer and several
developers. It is important that they work on site rather than at home,
although they may work at home at least one day a week. There will be
periodic reviews of the work produced at least on a bi-weekly basis.
The candidate must be self-directed, but must also understand the goal of
the task and stay within the boundaries of the project.
