Job Description Develop VB.NET applications for the Office of Public Instructions Accreditation Department. Work directly with one of OPI*s developers as well as work with the Accreditation Department to gather requirements for new applications as well as updates to existing ones. Receive feedback and make necessary updates until each application is complete. Requires excellent VB.NET development skills, the ability to take direction from another developer, and knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Responsibilities * Work with an application developer to build VB.NET applications for the Accreditation Department.* Meet with the Accreditation Department to gather requirements for their applications.* Follow OPI*s development standards and submit code to lead developer for review to ensure compliance with the standards. Skills Requirements * Strong VB.NET development skills.* Experience with working in Visual Studio 2005 or 2008.* Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005.* Ability to gather requirements.* Ability to take direction and adhere to development standards.
