Location: NJ Rate: $30/hr Duration 8 months Requirements - Design, code, and debug complex applications using multiple languages. - Assist in the development and design of program specifications to provide technical requirements to code programs. - Develop test plans, test cases and test data and implement, track and support unit and system testing to ensure completeness and accurate development of project requirements. - Prepare system and user documentation. - Interface with other IT groups and customers, both internal and external, to provide requirements, provide support for testing new releases and products, and provide support for problem resolution. - Research and recommend next-generation programming languages and tools. Keep current on all software and hardware products. - 5 to 7 years experience developing and maintaining classic ASP applications. (Please note this skill is only needed for one of the positions) Qualifications - Bachelors degree in computer science or information systems, equivalent work experience or training certification; plus 5 to 7 years work experience. - 5 to 7 years experience in programming, analysis, and design including VB.NET, ASP.NET Visual Studio 2003, Visual Studio 2005/2008, XML, Ajax, DHTML, VBScript, Jscript, and Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Crystal Reports. - Background using third party tools and in particular, Telerik. - 3 to 5 years in data analysis. - 2 to 4 years in system development and testing. - Strong analytical and logical thinking skills. Excellent customer service, teamwork, project management, and written and verbal communication skills are required.
