The developer works closely with internal business customers to understand
reporting requirements and implement those leveraging Hyperion Essbase -OR-
Crystal Reports, depending on the user requirements.

This includes development of user requirements, development of
specifications, coding, unit testing, user acceptance testing,
documentation, and implementation. *

·        VERY strong Hyperion Essbase Development – REQUIRED

·        Good Crystal Reports Development –REQUIRED

·        Excellent SQL skills using Oracle

·        Performance tuning/analysis/optimization of reports and SQL

·        Understanding of Hyperion Essbase 9.3.1 security concepts

·        Data warehousing skills including relational and star schema design
concepts

·        Excellent written and oral communication skills

·        Effectively interview internal customers to gather reporting
requirements

·        Diagnose complex problems in the software environment and resolve
them in a timely manner
