*Responsibilities*

·         Work closely with product developers to defining and executing
unit- and integration-level tests on more complex new features and
components being developed.

·         Work with development to help troubleshoot software problems.

·         Ability to setup, execute and understand the results of
functional, performance and persistence tests.

·         Ability to identify, analyze and communicate unplanned for
problems and issues.

·         Ability to identify gaps and deficiencies in existing test plans,
scripts and cases, and effectively extend test plans where necessary.

·         Ability to analyze and report test results and testing status from
an overall product perspective. Create and execute unit, integration and
performance tests to identify and correct program errors and scalability
constraints.

·         Ability to organize and execute tasks and overall workload based
on team goals and priorities

·         Ability to analyze documented functional requirements and
specifications and, based on this analysis, (1) identify gaps in the defined
requirements and specifications and (2) define a test plan that will assure
that the defined requirements and specifications are fully met.

·         Ability to develop and maintain test scripts and cases, software
test and performance measurement tools using appropriate programming
languages or software applications.

·         Effectiveness in working closely with developers, providing (1)
review and recommendations on design specifications from a quality and
testability perspective, and (2) unit and integration level testing on early
versions of new products and features.

·         (A plus) Ability to provide technical training, guidance and
direction to more junior SQA staff, balancing leadership and teamwork
values.

·         Ability to perform regression testing, defect validation, and
defect status update in defect tracking system

·         Follow advanced software test standards and methods and conduct
complex software tests; additionally contribute to establishing test
standards

·         Responsible for daily testing activities, issue resolution and
communication across project execution teams.

*Key Requirements*

·         5+ years of experience in the Software Quality Assurance/ Testing
area;

·         Experience in Software Testing, Testing Automation and Regression,
with knowledge of software QA processes, methodologies, and tools

·         Experience creating test plans, test cases, testing, etc

·         Knowledge of the SDLC

·         Excellent Communication Skills

·         BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.

·         Knowledge/Experience with automated software testing tools (such
as Mercury) a plus

·         Ability to handle multiple project priorities

·         Willingness and ability to create and adapt to new technologies

*Some additional preferable skill sets are:*

·         Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008

·         SQL Query syntax

·         Microsoft .Net application testing experience

·         Web application testing experience

·         Agile methodology knowledge a plus

·         Experience has Team Leader a plus (Coaching, Mentoring, Training,
etc)
