*Role Description:*
BI Architect/Tool Specialist with in-depth experience of developing Business
Intelligence (BI) solutions utilizing the latest Business Objects suite of
products
*Technology:*
Xcelsius 2008 (Online Dashboards with Live Office or QAAWS), Crystal Reports
2008, Explorer, Business Objects XI Release 3.1, SQL and experience working
with other Relational Database
*Required:*
- Minimum of 2 years experience developing business management dashboards
and scorecards using primarily Xcelsius 2008 (Online Dashboards with
Live Office or QAAWS) and related BOBJ technologies
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience with Business Objects suite of
products, including experience with Business Objects XI Release 3.1 (focus
on Web Intelligence )
- Exposure to BOBJ Explorer and BOBJ Dashboard Builder
- *Extensive hands-on experience, including: *
- *Primary:* Report Development
- Design, develop and system test reports and dashboards based on
business blueprints
- Suggest different analytical solutions based on available tools
within BOBJ environment and business requirements
(Demonstrate ability to
recommend appropriate solution for intended audience)
- Collaborate with data analyst on ways to build and improve
reporting infrastructure
- *Secondary:* Metadata Modeling
- Design universes and develop data models (including dimensional
and relational data modeling experience)
- Solid understanding of multidimensional database architecture and
OLAP technology
- Ability to use Transact SQL effectively to analyze, troubleshoot data,
and create stored procedures
- Solid communication skills and relevant business experience with Sales,
Marketing, Financial, and HR analytics/reporting
