Location: Richardson - TX Duration: 6+ months Job Responsibilities: This position is seeking a qualified Network Test Engineer who has extensive knowledge and hands-on experience testing the Juniper T1600. This includes certifying new JunOS code and hardware, such as SIBs, FPCs, or PICs. The applicant must have an in-depth knowledge of testing strategies, approaches, and troubleshooting processes related to the Juniper T1600. The applicant must have a sound background and in-depth knowledge of feature-level, system, and interoperability testing Ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of problems encountered in the lab and, as necessary, refers the problem to the vendor with the appropriate captures and information. Experienced with TCP/IP, OSPF, MPLS, BGP, and other data protocols Experienced in using all types of test tools, such as the Agilent N2X Router Tester, Codenomicon, and others Hands on experience in writing test cases, executing them, and then producing in-depth test exit reports for distribution to our internal customers Capability to automate manual test cases into an automation script using TCL Working knowledge and understanding of the IOS9001 process Must be very adaptable and a team player with the ability to work in a complex and a multi-faceted testing environment to deal with new technologies in an expeditious manner Experience Level: minimum of 6 years Please send in resume with contact details, rate, location and availability status.
