Please send the Resumes to : *[email protected]* *Please send only matching resumes along with rate and contact details.* *Requirement Details : **ROLE : **QA Tester(SQL, PL/SQL) with rational testing** **Location : **Mechanicsburg, PA** Duration : **3-6 months** ** REQUIREMENT DETAILS: * *Job Description:* * We need 4 strong resources to join the testing team at our client- , they are really looking at strong development kind of resources in Oracle who have a strong SQL background and have experience in data models, etc* *Having experience in Rational testing tool set is a plus but they really need strong database guys with SQL and PL/SQL* *Description:* Primary responsibility will be the review and execution of Test Cases, results evaluation, and reporting of test verdict. The candidate needs to have advanced analytical skills to raise defects with appropriate details when test cases fail or results do not match the use case. The candidate will work closely with other test team members, configuration, and development teams on problem resolution. Provide additional information, as requested by the development team, when required for defect analysis/remediation. Must have experience on large, n-tier complex application development projects. Ability to maintain and execute manual or automated test cases using Rational tools. Advanced written and oral communicate is a must. *Skills:* Required; Advanced Testing/Test methodology exposure (especially Component Integration Testing, System Testing, regression, and exposure to stress / load / performance) Required; Advanced analytical skills in order to evaluate test scenarios and test cases based on established system specifications and user requirements Required: Ability to execute test cases, analyze results and report verdicts and issues to Test Lead and Manager Required; Experience with Rational Testing Tools (Rational ClearQuest Test Manager, Rational ClearCase and Rational Manual Tester) or an equivalent test tool suite. Nice to have; Experience using Rational ClearQuest Tools for logging defects Required; Advanced Communication and documentation skills (Oral and Written) Required; Thorough, detail oriented and organized work ethic with a self-motivated personality. Required; Excellent team player with a strong self-confidence. Required; Flexible - accommodate schedule changes, tasks changes Required; Intermediate Service Oriented Architecture knowledge with understanding to test moderate to complex web services including but not limited to the knowledge to build WSDL files. Required; Intermediate Enterprise Integration concepts and skills including but not limited to building files of varying formats (Fixed, CSV, etc.) required to test Integration components Required; Knowledge of various batch processing including but not limited to batch jobs, BPEL, work flow and human task initiated processes required to test complex business rules and processing. Required; Understanding and implementing Quality Assurance Process in Scripting and Defect Management. Required; Knowledge of Oracle SQL Developer (or compatible product) Required; Knowledge of intermediate SQL commands, including Select, Update, and Insert statements. Required; Advanced Knowledge of advance SQL commands, including Joins, Unions, Case statements etc. Working knowledge of the basic Oracle components including tablespaces, schemas, database links, sequences etc. (nice to have) Working knowledge of Oracle external tables and common delimiter files (nice to have) Nice to Have; Analytical know how to test the reports data with ability to work with Business Objects Reports and to cross check BO data with front end Application. Nice to Have; Knowledge of Crystal Reports Testing with know how to test and validate in front end apps and backend database validation.
