Position: Windows Admin
Location: NJ
Duration: 3-6 months
Job Requirement:
a.. Opportunity for a Lead Systems Engineer with 5 + years experience
supporting and leading an enterprise Windows infrastructure.
b.. The ideal candidate will support OS and associated applications; provide
2nd /3rd level support; monitor network and all production servers; manage
system security, monitoring backups and patch deployment.
c.. Interact with application and client services teams and make
infrastructure technology recommendations.
d.. Prepare documentation related to deployment, operations, and support of
systems and associated applications.
e.. Coordinate systems changes with appropriated support staff to ensure
uninterrupted computer services to the business.
f.. Provide deployment and management of services as well as maintaining
server inventory.
g.. Perform capacity-planning studies and identify capacity shortages.
h.. Develop standards, design and participate in disaster recovery processes.
Required Skills:
a.. Windows 2003, IIS 6 and Citrix Presentation Server.
b.. Extensive experience troubleshooting complex server infrastructure and
network environments as well as strong documentation skills.
c.. Be familiar with best practices, security and server handling. Have
excellent communication skills.
