Job Title : Network Security Engineer Location : Stamford, CT Duration : Fulltiume/ Contract Rate : DOE Description : * *Role Summary* Leads core elements of the Client wide information security risk managment programs. Responsible for initiation and completion of large, complex projects including overall project review, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, execution and closure in all areas of information security. Drives solution identification, identifies security risks, implements quality metrics, and measures remediation to an acceptable level. This role is part of the Capital HQ Information Security team and will work with the business security leaders to meet ongoing program milestones. *Essential Responsibilities* · Assist in the creation of security policies, standards, and procedures to meet regulatory requirements. · Implement key risk indicators to measure overall security risk and compliance. · Provides constant communication to keep key stakeholders informed of any and all issues. · Maintains effective working relationships with peers to seamlessly integrate solutions with overall objectives and activities across the organization. · Directs successful transition to support and maintenance teams. *Qualifications/Requirements* Basic Qualifications · Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience in Information Technology field. · 3 years experience in information security. · Demonstrated experience leading project across technology and business functions. Desired Characteristics · Excellent project management skills. · Evidence of broad customer service delivery. · Financial services experience is a plus. · Must have very strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. · Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
