Need: Information Specialist (PowerBuilder)
Location: Houston, TX. {LOCALS ONLY}
*Overall Job Summary:* Responsible for complex business/systems analysis,
requirements gathering, programming, and/or systems administration tasks.
Primary Accountabilities include: Create, support, modify, and maintain
moderately complex systems and programs and project documentation; Perform
complicated business analysis, systems design systems administration tasks,
and/or programming; Frequent interaction with outside organizations;
Represent work group to resolve system and project technical issues; Work as
member of project teams to provide expertise on customer systems and
processes; Provide occasional functional and technical guidance to junior
team members and peers. Systems analyst\development experience with major
PowerBuilder and SQL Server concentration.
*Minimum Education Requirements:* Associates degree with emphasis on
computer science or information technology OR Bachelors degree in
information systems, business administration, computer science, or
equivalent technical field
*Minimum Experience Requirements:* Associates degree with emphasis on
computer science or information technology with 6 years internal experience,
or 7 to 8 years external experience and direct applicability to position
accountabilities OR Bachelors degree in computer science or an information
technology field of study with 4 to 5 years in an information technology
related position.
