4812 BTS Engineer Nebraska 8+ months (possible extension) Need someone with 4812 experience (does not have to be recent) and who is willing to travel. The position itself is located out of Nebraska. Contract through end of the year and could go as long as 2 years or more. This position is described as follows: This is a installation project that will involve hands on deinstallation and installation of Motorola 4812 base stations. Traveling to a minimum of 1 cell site per day for a total installation. You will be apart of a Team or 3 or 4 performing installation and calibration for each installation. After installation there will be a Calibration Engineer troubleshooting to make sure frame is set up correctly and that all connections are working correctly. Calibrating the SC4812T and SC4812T-MC frames. Description: Bolt down Motorola BTS (cell site) frames to floor with provided hardware 2. Run, install and terminate provided ground cable from Motorola BTS (cell site) frame to Master Ground Bar 3. If necessary, install provided DC power breakers within DC power board during Verizon Wireless maintenance window. 4. Run, install and terminate DC power runs from DC power board to Motorola BTS (cell site) frames. 5. If necessary, run, install and terminate inter-bay cabling between Motorola BTS Starter and Expansion frame. 6. Run, install, and terminate RF cabling along with any necessary duplexers for Motorola BTS (cell site) frames installation. 7. Run, install and terminate span cabling from Motorola BTS (cell site) frames to Verizon Wireless provided Telco rack. 8. If necessary, run and terminate all cabling between Motorola BTSRTR and Motorola SC4812T (- MC) (cell site) frames. 9. If applicable, install Motorola EVDO patch panel and cabling within Motorola SC4812T (-MC) (cell site) frames. 10. Remove all trash from Motorola BTS (cell site) frame and equipment installations.
