Title : JSF Developer Location : Jersey City, NJ Duration : 8 Months Job Description: Key skills for this role are JSF experience along with Fixed Income and/or Bonds experience. Support and development of trading and banking applications for the Municipals business. This position requires a seasoned web developer with expert-level knowledge of Java, JSP, Servlet, HTML/DHTML, Javascript, Ajax, JSF (RichFaces) and Spring MVC. Associate will collaborate with other developers to deliver and support the application suite. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Primary Responsibilities: 5-10 years of experience developing applications in Java. The candidate must be experienced in (5+ years) developing test-driven, web applications. Candidates will develop, test and maintain software applications that support the Municipals trading and banking businesses. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May collaborate with external/offshore programmers and QA resources to coordinate delivery of software application. Candidate must be detail-oriented, hard-working and be a team player. Qualifications: Expert-level knowledge of the following is required: - 5+ years of experience in the following technologies: - Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, Hibernate, Core Java 1.5+, Oracle PL/SQL, experience with Sybase a plus. - 3+ years of Web development using the following technologies: - Spring Webflow, RichFaces, custom JSF components, AJAX, DHTML/CSS/Javascript - Basic knowledge of VB, VBScript highly desired. - Knowledge with Tibco RV, IBM MQSeries(Java), EJB, JMS, WebService/SOAP/AIXS2. - Previous work experiences in Municipals a plus.
