Job Title: Network Consultant City Philadelphia, PA Contract Duration: 6 Months Maximum Rate payable to the Staffing Agency: USD 45-48 Per Hour Area Of Expertise Banking Job Description/Skills Required: The primary responsibilities of the role are to support and maintain the Data Network infrastructure. These responsibilities include: • Design, Implementation and Testing of LAN, WAN and Data Centre Network Infrastructure • Network Troubleshooting • Initiate, Implement and Support Problem/Change Requests • Interface with Stakeholders and with escalation teams • Manage and Support escalations • Providing technical consultancy to business units and other IT teams • Providing technical inputs for Service Improvements • Prepare Requirement Specs, Design and Test Plan Documents • Giving inputs to Managers and Leads for Project Planning and sending status updates to Leads/Managers Experience of 5-8 years. A minimum of 3 years in Design and Implementation Strong Cisco networking background. Design and implementation experience around following devices: • Switches – Cisco Cat6K, 4900, 3750s • Routers – Cisco ISRs, ASRs • Firewalls – Cisco ASA and PIX, Nokia Checkpoint • WAN Accelerators – Riverbed Steelhead 1050 to 5050 Skilled in: • Installing Network Devices. Handling upgrades • WAN optimisation • Load balancing appliances Knowledge in the following areas: • IP Telphony • Proxy technology • Enterprise wireless implementations • IDS/IPS implementations Experience in using Remedy and Network Management tools effectively. Knowledge of Advanced Network technologies as well as technologies of the future. Cisco CCIE R&S, CCNP certified Do we have the flexibility for telephonic interviews?
