Title : Sr. Information Architect Location : Hoffman Estates, IL Duration : 6 Months Job Description: - The User Experience Architect will work closely with Product Management and IT to collaborate and creatively envision, evaluate, and design successful user experiences for our Social Commerce initiatives. Required Skills/ Experience: - Create detailed page-level wireframes and functional specifications - Develop new and effective design solutions on time and in scope - Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver on new business initiatives and platform enhancements - Conducting research (e.g. at a minimum competitive and comparative analysis) - Paper prototyping capabilities - Willingness to switch gears quickly and be flexible to work on concurrent projects. Should have 2 or more of these: - Concept generation, brainstorming workshop facilitation - Low to High fidelity interactive prototyping capabilities - Familiarity, confidence and experience in developing goal oriented, metric-measurable social interactions. - Deep understanding of contemporary best practices relevant to social user experience, including designing for registration enticement, community participation, social identity formation, and enabling the "viral" transmission of community/site content. - Proficient with current social media implementations such as Twitter, Facebook, blogging, wikis, threaded discussion communities, and so on. - Demonstrable participation in the social media space. Strong preference given to candidates with design experience in this space.
