*Location : NYC, NY Duration : 6-24 Months Interview : F2F Required * Finance background preferred * - Looking for a Business Objects developer with Universe/Report development skills and extensive knowledge and skills in the Business Objects Business Intelligence Suite. - The current platform against which Business Objects is used is MS SQL database, so the person should have skills in PL/SQL. *Key Deliverable:* - Develop a Business Objects Universe for a portfolio management tool. - Develop Business Objects content (Desktop Intelligence and Web Intelligence) as required. - Develop and publish new reporting solutions according to specifications identified and approved by the IT business. - Escalates critical issues to management and those able to help solve identified problems. - Uses experience, research and analysis to translate business requirements into creative and innovative solutions. *Qualifications:* - Good prototyping and documentation skills. - Understands quality assurance/quality control processes. - Experience with PL/SQL. - Knowledge of relational databases, as well as skills in design and code development. - Performance tuning/analysis/optimization of reports and SQL. - Extensive experience working with Business Objects Business Intelligence suite, preferably version XI3. - Experience in gathering user requirements and engaging with Business Analysts. - Microsoft SQL Server experience preferred. - Successful candidate should be able to engage with end users and data analysts to understand the business requirements. - Should be able to understand business requirements, prototype and facilitate the design and development process utilizing industry standard SDLC and Agile concepts - Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience and technical expertise. -- Praveen Kumar Technical Recruiter NPD GLOBAL INC...
