Write detailed specifications, write code, complete programming, testing and debugging of applications. Document forms, procedures and other documentation needed for the installation and maintenance of application programs. May be required to be on-call. Enhance knowledge of railroad industry as it relates to Railinc systems. Set high standards for others to follow. Minimum of five to eight years of technical experience. In-depth knowledge of client/server computer environment and the ability to design solutions which make the best use of architecture being employed by Railinc or Railinc customers. In-depth knowledge of relational database theory and one year experience with a relational database product. Understanding of Object Oriented development techniques such as object inheritance, encapsulation and object reuse. 8-10 years experience, AGILE, Java, Strutts, Hibernate, SQL, Oracle,( DB2, COBOL (mainframe)) MQ, Websphere, Tomcat, Spring.
