JOB DESCRIPTION :* *Location: NYC, NY* *Duration: 6 -24 Months* - The ideal candidate will be able to engineer and develop web based interfaces using object oriented technologies like C# and JavaScript. - The developer would have experience implementing dynamic web portals using JavaScript libraries (ExtJS, JQuery ) and/or SilverLight. - The developer should have the ability to code cross browser and cross platforms, able to work independently and must be results focused with an eye for detail.: *Qualifications* - Expert knowledge of JavaScript (Object oriented JS), HTML, CSS, DHTML, JSON. - Must have experience using ExtJS (Ext). Libraries such as jQuery, Yahoo UI, Dojo and other JavaScript libraries and frameworks are helpful. - SilverLight and C# experience. - Must have experience working with Flex, Flash and SilverLight embedded objects. - Comprehensive knowledge of XML and XSLT. - Web Accessibility, Section 508 and ADA compliance is a must. - Cross browser and OS support and understanding of limitations. Mobile web browser support helpful. - Must be able to hand code using a text editor. - Experience working on portals and large scale web-based applications. - Ability to work well with others and multitask with quick turn around times. - Documenting APIs to support other team members. - Must be organized and maintain list of tasks and relay status of tasks. - Must be execution and results focused. *Desired Skills:* - Flex and Action Script experience. - Ability to design interfaces and graphics using Adobe CS4. - Experience with PUSH and COMET for live data updates. - Knowledge of investment banking is highly beneficial. - Portfolio of previous work. - Experience working on Microsoft OLAP cubes, RDBMS/Stored Procedures. -- Praveen Kumar Technical Recruiter NPD GLOBAL INC...
