Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree and 10+ years
We are in need of 1 merger bubble staff application software engineer to
support of the infrastructure monitoring project.
This person is required to be highly technical within the InfoVista software
application suite.
This person must have the following high level skills:
. InfoVista Experience 3 - 5 years (Troubleshooting, Installing,
Configuration)
. Able to setup VistaPortal, VistaCockpit, VistaMart, VistaDiscovery
and Reports.
. Scripting Background (Perl, C, Shell)
. Unix/Linux background
Below are the details on what our candidate is expected to do on a
day-to-day bases:
Installing and configuring application on the servers
configuring applications
VistaPortal: (server)
VistaCockpit: (setting up workflows and task that are automated)
VistaMart: Configuring server groups and rules to help it in
automations and integrations
VistaDiscovery: working with the seed file integration and
identifying unique oddities in the network to have them discovery
correctly Develop InfoVista reporting customizations on the following:
. IPT
. NPE (performance reports like IPSLA and Capacity Planning)
. Operations
. Network Engineering
. firewall
. load balancers (netscaler)
. Install and configure High Availability systems.
. IV Server polling HA
. Webservice Portal load balancing
. cockpit hot stand by
. VistaMart database failover
