WebSpherePortal 6.1 systems with at least 3 years hands-on experience.
Strong knowledge of Websphere Portal components, services and
frameworks (WCM, PDM, WMM/PUMA, Personalization, Themes/Skins,
PortletWiring, Access Control, etc.).
Integrated WebSphere Portal with enterprise security systems
(LDAP).
At least 5 years experience in web-related development efforts
using Java, J2EE, or related development techniques (AJAX, JAVASCRIPT, JSP,
Spring MVC, JAXB).
Must have experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and
supporting portlets (JSR 168).
Experience with Web Services and Dojo.
Experience with iterative design and development methodology
principles.
Experience in the use of security integration � identity
management, authentication, authorization, and access control.
Experience in use of personalization � unique, configurable
Websphere Portal experience for each individual users. User Interface visual
design awareness.
Knowledge of unique aspects of release management and automation
with respect to portal architecture, design, and development of portal
applications.
Knowledge of various methods to integrate existing applications
into portal.
Use of multiple virtual portals and IBM Web Content Management.
Performance testing and tuning of portal.
Experience with Unix / AIX.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Position Name: Web Developer
Position Type: Contract
Position Length: 6 months +

Skills Required:
MP Web Services Designer/ Developer Contractor
Bachelor degree with 3-5 years experience analyzing, designing,
developing and implementing web services and portlets for Enterprise portals
using SDLC methodology and software development best practices.
Experience designing Enterprise services and message model schemas
and creating UML diagrams for design phase deliverables is a must have.
Expert knowledge of SOA, Object-Oriented design and programming
concepts, and design patterns.
Expert knowledge and development experience with Java, J2EE, JSP,
JDBC, JAXB, servlets, RAD6/ RAD7, DAOs, JUnit, SQL, HTML, XML, JAX-WS, and
WSDL.
Demonstrated experience with Spring MVC, Hibernate, CXF, and SOAP.
Development experience on the WebSphere Application Server
platform.
Knowledge and experience developing portlets using Spring
PortletMVC framework,
WebSphere Portal 6.1 and JSR 168 standard.
Prefer experience deploying and testing portals.
Solid understanding of relational databases and DB2.

- Expert knowledge and experience developing portlets using

is extremely important.
