Java Developer
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 4+ months

*Responsiblity. *
Developer will create a new Java application (a rewrite of the current
PowerBuilder application), allowing users to enter new information on
website. Developer will collaborate with user community to ensure that the
application meets business requirements.
Developer should proactively research and analyze issues and requirements,
and work closely with other technical staff. Conduct reviews of proposed
design and again after coding and unit testing of assignment. Developer will
perform testing to verify that the development meets the business
requirements. Worker will adhere to and follow all IT templates and
standards. Performs other related work as assigned.
Must have work experience with Java based enterprise application development
Perform Application analysis, design and programming in Java Application
Perform Unit Testing and System Integration testing of applicable changes
based on the requirements or applications defect
Communicate effectively in writing and verbally on a variety of business
matters as required
Perform related work as assigned

Full-time work experience in the design and coding of Object Oriented (OO)
information systems using an OO programming language 5
Yrs
Hands on experience utilizing the Java J2EE 5Yrs
Hands on experience using open source libraries like STRUTS, ANT, LOG4J,
JUNIT and other apache open source libraries. 5Yrs
Hands on experience developing Java application using OR Mapping tools like
iBatis, Hibernate or other equivalent technologies. 4Yrs
Experience in designing and documenting system using UML
4Yrs
Experience with Integrated Development environment (IDE) such as Rational
Application Developer (RAD) or Eclipse. 4Yrs
Experience constructing Workflow diagrams in collaboration with users 2Yrs
Communication (Verbal & Written)
